REID FAMILY: Ashton's Adventures!

So we have a lot to fill you in on. Since the last time we posted Ashton has been to the Eye doctor, Cardiologist, two Dermatologists, he has had an Eco cardiogram, two EKG's, an MRI and an MRA (which required him to be put to sleep, and mommy still hasn't gotten over that). You might be wondering why so much?? Well it turns out that his hemangioma is on the larger side and it has been growing pretty rapidly. The dermatologist's that have seen him were concerned about a syndrome called PHASES which could mean he might have other issues with the organs that were developing at the same time this hemangioma started to develop in the womb. The treatment that the eye doctor wanted to start him on is a blood pressure medicine that has been very effective in aggressively shrinking these hemangiomas to ensure that his vision is not effected in that eye but we had to get all these other tests done to make sure he didn't have any other problems before putting him on a BP medicine. So very long story short, all his tests came back great and we are starting the medicine this weekend. We look forward to getting rid of that thing so we can see all of his beautiful or should I say hansom face!! We'll let you know how it works. Ashton also got to meet his cousins and aunt Laura for the first time. They came with grandma Carron to visit last weekend and we were so excited to hang out. Here are some pics for you to enjoy!!
