End of the Summer :(

Well we have been enjoying the last few weeks of summer... since our last post, we have been to STL a couple of times, which we always enjoy.  Ashton has been getting more and more interested in other little one's and especially loves playing with his cousins!! We made it through the Hive situation (thank the Lord!) but we are now in the process of getting 3 molars and his top 2 I-teeth (of course he would be getting 5 teeth at one time!!).  He had a few days where we could not make him happy but for the most part he is really handling it well!!  We took Ashton to the water park across the street last week and he loved it!!  He kept trying to swim...it was hilarious!!  He didn't want any help and he kept putting his face in the water and he would climb all over the water fountains, it was so cute!  Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of our little adventure because our camera is too big to lug over there with all the other stuff we had to bring (we are working on getting a travel camera that is more portable).  Other than getting outside as much as we can, we haven't been doing much. Ashton has discovered how to open containers (anything with a plastic lid)... here he found his crackers and decided to help himself

of course when I discovered him I had to snap a shot before explaining to him that mommy has to get his snacks for him

Ashton loves food...which is great!!  I love that he will pretty much eat anything!  He does have picky moments and those are very challenging for me but they don't happen too often!  Here he is enjoying one of his favorites!

As you will notice, Ashton is hard to get a picture of smiling!  He smiles all the time but as soon as I get the camera (or my phone) to take a picture he gets real serious because he has a small obsession with anything electronic!!  Hopefully he gets over that soon so we can capture his great smile!! 

 Mimi and her friend Jim went to the races over the weekend and they got Ashton a really neat race car...he loves to flip it over and spin the wheels!

He was having a really bad case of bed head here...I couldn't do anything about it! 

Lincoln came over to play the other day and it was so much fun!  They played with some of Ashton's favorite toys

and shared a snack before Lincoln had to leave.

They were so cute together!  

Ashton has been really craving his time with his Daddy!  Good luck getting anywhere near him if Brian is around!!  Its really cute... here he is relaxing on dad ~

I was telling Ashton that his Daddy used to be a model...I told him that daddy got to travel to other states and countries and people paid him to take his picture!  Now I don't know if it was the lifestyle that sounded appealing to him or if this stems from his obsession with Brian but this was his reaction

I think he's going to be a household name...what do you think?  I mean...look at the intensity!! LOL...he's working that diaper!  Look out world...Here he comes!! :)
